Privacy Policy
How Oliver Companies handles personal information on olivercompanies.net. This site sets no cookies and runs no tracking of any kind.
Last updated September 22, 2026
1. Introduction
Oliver Companies is a family owned manufacturer in Hohenwald, Tennessee, and the parent of Oliver Travel Trailers, Oliver Fiberglass Products, and Oliver Technologies. This policy explains what personal information we collect through olivercompanies.net (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
This Site is informational. We do not sell products or take orders through it, and we collect very little. The one place you can send us personal information is the job application form on our Careers page.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
If you apply for a job through the Site, the application form asks for your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, the best time to reach you, the position you want, the hours you are available, your previous employers, and anything you choose to tell us about yourself. You may also attach a resume.
We only receive this information if you fill in the form and submit it. Please do not send us Social Security numbers, financial account details, or medical information through the form.
Information collected automatically
Our web server keeps standard logs, as nearly all web servers do. These records may include your IP address, the pages you requested, the date and time, your browser type, and the page that referred you. We use them to operate the Site, diagnose problems, and protect against abuse. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
3. How we use your information
We use the information described above to:
- Review your job application and contact you about it.
- Answer questions you send us.
- Keep recruitment records for Oliver Companies and its operating companies.
- Operate, maintain, and secure the Site.
- Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and misuse.
- Meet our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build marketing profiles from it.
4. How we may disclose your information
WE DO NOT SELL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION, AND WE DO NOT SHARE IT FOR CROSS-CONTEXT BEHAVIORAL ADVERTISING.
We may share personal information in these limited situations:
- With our operating companies, where your application or question concerns one of them.
- With service providers who help us run the Site and our email, and who may use the information only to perform that work for us.
- With our attorneys, accountants, and similar advisors.
- With a buyer or successor, if the business or part of it is sold or reorganized.
- When the law requires it, or to respond to lawful requests, protect our rights, or protect the safety of any person.
- When you ask us to, or otherwise direct us to.
5. Cookies, tracking, and third party content
THIS SITE SETS NO COOKIES. WE USE NO ANALYTICS, NO ADVERTISING NETWORKS, NO TRACKING PIXELS, NO WEB BEACONS, AND NO SESSION RECORDING.
We also host our own fonts, scripts, and images. Nothing on a page is loaded from an outside server, so no other company receives your IP address or learns that you visited simply because you opened a page here.
Two things are worth pointing out, because they depend on you choosing to click:
- Our Locations page has “Get directions” links that open Google Maps. If you click one, Google receives the request and applies its own privacy policy.
- Links to our three operating companies open their websites, which have their own policies and may use cookies or analytics.
Because we run no tracking, there is nothing here for a browser “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. We treat every visitor the same way.
6. How long we keep information
We keep job applications for our recruitment records for as long as they are useful for hiring, and longer where a law or a legal claim requires it. We delete information when we no longer need it, when the law requires us to, or when you ask us to, unless we must keep it. Server logs are kept for a short period in the ordinary course of operating the Site.
Copies may remain in routine backups for a time after deletion, and those copies are not used for any other purpose.
7. Security
The Site is served over an encrypted connection, and we use physical, technical, and organizational safeguards that are reasonable for the small amount of information we hold. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, and you send information to us at your own risk.
If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us using the details below.
8. Your rights and choices
You may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete your information, including a job application you submitted.
- Stop sending you email about a position.
Write to us using the details in the Contact section and tell us what you would like. We may need to confirm who you are before we act, and we will respond within the time the law allows. We will not treat you differently for asking.
9. State privacy rights
Some states give residents specific rights over personal information, including the right to know what is collected, to obtain a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of sale or targeted advertising, and to appeal a decision we make about a request.
We honor these rights for anyone who asks, whichever state you live in. As described above, we do not sell personal information, we do not share it for targeted advertising, and we do not use it for profiling. We have no actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
California residents may also ask, once a year, about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes under California Civil Code Section 1798.83. We make no such disclosures.
10. Other websites we link to
This policy covers olivercompanies.net only. Our three operating companies run their own websites, and we link to other sites such as Google Maps for directions. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement. Please read the policy of any site before you give it information.
11. Children’s privacy
The Site is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it. Our handling of information from children under 13 follows the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top, and the new version applies from the moment it is posted. If a change matters, we will make it easy to notice. Please check back from time to time.
